How can you lower your cholesterol by a third?


The only cholesterol number you need to know is LDL cholesterol with the following range:

0-100 is a safe zone i.e. green. 101-160 is a fair zone or yellow, and finally 161-300 is considered poor or red zone.

Green color as it suggests is good and healthy. Yellow is O.K. as long as you do not have other risk factors, and in fact, this number should be considered a road sign. Red means you have to take it seriously, and try your best to reduce it back to lower ranges.
